In order to find homes that have been foreclosed, you need to check out foreclosure listings.  These listings are available to the public, but not all are totally free foreclosure listings.  When looking on the internet, you need to use caution when accessing information on sites listing free foreclosure listings.  Many of these sites advertize that you can get the information for freeuntil you read the fine print.  They provide a limited time free trial period.  You can access than as many times as you want to during the trial period for free.  If you do not cancel your subscription before the limited time period expires, your credit card will automatically be charged.  When taking advantage of these free offers, dont register for the sites that require that you enter your credit card information upon registration.
